Where have all the drips gone?

Sharon, this is getting serious. First you leave and install the blonde woman. Then, she clips our nails. Now, to top it off, she went and messed with the plumbing by installing a new faucet that doesn't drip. WTF? I had her turn on the faucet the other day, just for old time's sake. I needed to experience the trickle of water falling gently on my kitty whiskers. But, that lovely sensation only lasted a little while before Carol turned off the water. I repeat, WTF? I'll give her credit for her taste. At least she picked something that doesn't blow. Hope you like it. Meow with extra kitty kisses, Misha.

Laser Dance

I don't know when this frigging red dot is going to go away. I never know when it will appear, but here I am attempting to grab it with my paw. I tire of the erratic nature of the dot after a few goes up the wall. I don't want to show too much emotion (read: disappointment) in my constant failure to catch the dot, although I've noticed that Misha hasn't had too much luck either. Regardless, I'm routinely coaxed into red dot hide and seek. I feign caring for the first few minutes and then I attack with full force. As always, the dot is clever. I wish I could understand why it only appears in the morning and at night when Carol and Chris are sitting around with their thumbs up their butts. Is there a connection?? BTW - I hate getting my nailes clipped. I'd rather poop in a full litter box than have to endure the trauma of such ridiculous antics. Can you do something about that? Hope you're having fun shooting stuff up. Are you getting enough sleep? We miss you. Meow, Crema

Is it time for breakfast?

I'm rather proud of this image. I think it shows the depth of my patience, the green of my eyes and the quiet will I exert over every being I encounter. I clearly mesmerized the Carol lady - she was so taken with my form she snapped this image to share with Sharon. Hi Sharon!!! Crema and I survived a few days on our own without adult supervision. We've been pleased with Carol and Chris' inability to keep one of their blankets off the floor in the bedroom. It makes a nice daytime nesting spot. Carol has been spending lots of time in the kitchen making sweets (she doesn't share any). Could you ask her to make us some kitty cookies? Write soon!!! Meow, Misha

Suffering comes easy

Cafe con Crema post of October 4, 2008 ~

I realize that I should be sad, weeping really, for the departure of Our Sharon. Her sweet, high pitched "Kitties!!!" is already dearly missed and sadly, not replaced in the least by that woman Carol who utters, "Cat cats," from her large pie hole with little less than half an ounce of passion. But, as a dear friend ~ Sarah ~ would say, I digress. I want you to take note of the ease with which I relax on my perch (that I unfortunately share with Misha). Despite the sadness of this first day with Sharon truly gone, I've managed to leave The Safe Place behind to lay down with relative ease on this carpet half pipe of luxuy, some two feet off the ground. OMG - now that guy Chris is playing rap. Please Sharon, come home!!!

Love, Crema

Something's fishy 'round here

The day is nearing its end and we can't help but notice that with the steady disappearance of Our Sharon's belongings - something is up. This obvious change is further compounded by the sudden arrival of a woman called Carol. She lurks about the kitchen muttering to herself and concocts food items for eating. We hide from her in The Safe Place (under Our Sharon's bed) and fear we might have to get used to her. At least she feeds us regularly and is making feeble attempts to play our cat games. We don't mean to complain, but sometimes she whistles to us like we're dogs. Whatever. Sharon, we miss you!!!
